The summer semester at AAU is pretty much over and the two classes I had were great. A little hairy at times because the summer semester is accelerated but I managed to pull through with good grades. The good news is my schedule is free for the next month so I FINALLY have some free time. That means it is time to come back from the break I took on the Akira bike and to finish it. I know I have been getting a few emails regarding it so it will now become a priority since I will have some free time. More info on that and an update to the website coming in a few days.

I started at the Academy of Art University during the summer semester to get started on my degree. I’m happy to see that units from my previous degree transfered over. So far the classes have been fun but challenging. I will be finishing the Akira bike soon as I have been taking a small break on my 3d work to concentrate on drawing and programming. I will also continue to polish the site in the near future.

I decided to bite the bullet and apply at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to work toward a BFA in illustration. The best part about getting the degree is that it will be 100% online and it is EXACTLY the same degree I would get if I would go in person. What does that mean? That means I can still work in the game and film industries while I work toward my degree! It also means that I can live anywhere I want. I will be taking the bare minimum classes in the beginning until I get an idea of how much I can handle as I don’t want school to interfere with wherever I work. I decided on illustration (with a bit of industrial design thrown in) to compliment my 3D skills.

All of this also means I’m going to be in some serious debt when all of this is finished. Will have to apply for some scholarships over time….or rob a bank.

I promised myself I would never make one of these evil blogs. Well, so much for that promise. This should be an easy way to ramble on about whatever and to give my website a more personable touch. I will most likely modify the theme in the near future; there are more important things to do at the moment…..like finishing my real-life weather dominator and controlling the world.
